Kogi Shippers Association has resolved to collaborate with Nigeria Shippers’ Council to remove all obstacles confronting import and export businesses especially export of agricultural produce in the state.

A communiqué issued at of the end of the association’s maiden post-inaugural Executive Committee meeting on Sunday in Lokoja said the resolve would enable members derive greater value from their investments.

Signed by Mr Habu-Rajan Suleiman, and Mr Donatus Okpe, President and Publicity Secretary respectively, the communiqué expressed the association’s readiness to assist exporters of agricultural produce in the state.

This, it added, would enable them to add value to the commodities and attract competitive prices in international market, thereby, boosting the nation’s non-oil exports.
