BREAKING: Wife Arrested For Allegedly Killing Husband With ‘Shoe Heel’ In Delta (See Why She Did It)

WARRI: The Delta State Police Command has arrested a woman who allegedly killed her husband (Father of two) identified simply as ‘Sylvester Etsebanghanro Ighomi’ in Ugbuwangue community, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Sources told The Union Nigeria that the women, allegedly “killed her husband and father of her children in Ugbuwangwe area of Warri.

The Union Nigeria learnt that the incident happened on Saturday about 11am close to the community town hall.

Sources said that, “the woman on Saturday morning struck a Father of two to death with the heel of her shoe in Ugbuwangue.

“The deceased was the husband to the woman, information on his Facebook page, suggest.

“The incident happened close to the community’s town hall.

“The deceased was also reportedly a member of the Ugbuwangue community executive.

“The couple had been quarreling over alleged infidelity on the part of the deceased.

“The woman had approached the husband were he sat and struck him at the back of his head.

“The husband, reportedly spitting out a foam of saliva on the ground immediately and died before he could be rushed to a hospital.

When contacted for comment, the state Police Public relations officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the arrest to our correspondent on phone.

She said that, “nobody had come to report the matter to the Police as at this time you are calling, but the lady has been arrested for two reasons.

“She is been arrested to keep her in protective custody, and the other, so that we can find her whenever she is needed.

“She has made some confessions to the Police about the incident. But no-one from the family or around has come to report the matter.

“We are going on with her statement, that she didn’t use her shoe on him. Until we have anything different. Investigation is still on.

“However, the remains of the deceased had been deposited in a morgue”.

It was not clear if the deceased legally or traditionally paid the woman pride price. But residents around said the lady and the man who is in his fourties had two children and had been living together.

Other sources said that, “we don’t know if they had fulfilled all marriage rites but they have children and have been living together.

“The wife as we call her used the heel of her shoe to hit the husband’s head from the back and he slumped and died. She accused him of extra marital affairs.

“His corpse is in the mortuary now as we speak. And the wife has been arrested “, residents around said.
